Based on the direct fusion of the adipose sac with superficial mons pubic fascia, Prof. Dr. Ostrzenski develops a new surgical procedure of mons pubic lift. This operation repairs site-specific defects of both the adipose sac and the mons pubic fascia.

A laxity of mons pubic superficial fascia reconstruction (mons pubic lift) should be considered when the mons pubic superficial fascia is intact and outstretched.

Removing excess fat from the mons pubic, also known as a liposuction or lipo surgical procedure, is often performed. Inadvertent injury to the superficial mons pubic fascia can occur during this operation, and it can cause a mons pubic descent, which will require a mons pubic lift.
