Perineoplasty (Crotch Lift)

Perineoplasty (Crotch Lift)

Posterior peritoneum in women, also knows as a female crotch, is located between the vagina and the anus. Reconstruction of this structure is called as posterior perineoplasty. That is a surgical intervention, which repairs site-specific defects of multiple structures such as the skin, superficial perineal fascia, perineal musculature, and the dorsal perineal membrane. Additionally, this operation tightens the posterior perineum muscles and increasing the tone of the posterior perineal musculature.

Prof. Dr. Adam Ostrzenski develops a new surgical technique to re-establish the integrity of the posterior perineum and named this surgical procedure as “Modified Posterior Perineoplasty.” This operation is indicated for the symptomatic medical condition associated with pain in women during sexual intercourse (superficial dyspareunia). Additionally, modified posterior perineoplasty is used for esthetic motives.
