On behalf of the modern cosmetic-plastic gynecologic group and myself, I would like to take this opportunity to extend our congratulations and express our deepest appreciation to the President, Prof. Zion Ben-Rafael from Israel, and to the Organizing Committees of the 14th World Congress on Controversies in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Infertility held in Paris, France, November 17-20, 2011, for including the cosmetic gynecologic field into one of the Plenary Sessions. Indeed, it was an historic event and cosmetic-plastic gynecology was formally recognized as a division of general gynecology on the international arena. The Organizing Committee and its President revealed not only deep knowledge about the scientific-clinical progress in the cosmetic-plastic gynecologic field but also demonstrated futuristic vision.
The modern cosmetic-plastic gynecologic field under the leadership of Professor Adam Ostrzenski, M.D., Ph.D., Dr. Hab. from U.S.A. was represented by Troy R. Hailparn, M.D., Mark N. Scheinberg, M.D., bothfrom the U.S.A., Andrzej J. Barwijuk, M.D., Ph.D. from Poland, Bora Cengiz, M.D., from Turkey, and Hasan W. Unsalem, M.D., from the Netherlands. Based upon outstanding clinical-scientific presentations by Drs. Barwijuk, Hailparn, Scheinberg, and Prof. Ostrzenski during the 14th World Congress in Paris, the Organizing Committee of the 15th World Congress on Controversies in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility, Hainan, China, December 8-11, 2011, invited Prof. Ostrzenski to organize, for the very first time in the history of medicine, a Plenary Session dedicated to the cosmetic-plastic gynecologic field. Again, history was made, since the cosmetic-plastic gynecologic field was awarded an independent Plenary Session. The invitation was extended to Troy R. Hailparn, M.D., and Mark N. Scheinberg, M. D., both from the U.S.A. to present during this historic event.

Teaching and Training of Cosmetic-Plastic Gynecology
For many years, Professor Ostrzenski has been offering 38 CME credits teaching courses/workshops and live operating room proctorships. Last year, international and domestic, multiple specialty (gynecologists, urologists, cosmetic-plastic surgeons, dermatologist-micro–surgeons, and general surgeons) practitioners participated in the Advanced Cosmetic-Plastic Gynecologic Course/Workshops. Nurses, physician-assistants, and OR technicians were prepared to assist in practices, marketing, and surgeries in the cosmetic-plastic gynecologic field. Individual, domestic and international trainings in surgeons’ own operating rooms were very successful. The upcoming course/workshop date is presented
below. Also, detailed schedules can be find at:www.cosmetic-gyn.com
It is my pleasure to inform you that the Organizing Committee of the 16th and 17th World Congresses on Controversies in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility (COGI) invited our group to address these World Congresses. The 16th COGI World Congress will take place in Singapore from July 19 to 22, 2012, and the 17th COGI World Congress will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, from November 8 to 11, 2012. Please check your calendar for these outstanding clinical-scientific congresses.
Professor Ostrzenski is contemplating to organize the Advanced Cosmetic-Plastic Gynecologic Course/Workshop 3 days before 16th and 17th COGI World Congresses. Such a hands-on workshop will allow you participating in a pre-congress clinical educational event and will allow you to get a certification of being formally taught in cosmetic-plastic gynecology. During the same trip, you can participate in the COGI World Congress. Please let me know, if you are interested in these unique opportunities without an obligation. The modern (non-deceptive and honest) cosmetic-plastic gynecologic field is the fastest growing division among general gynecology. Recent clinical studies and scientific articles in peer review journals as well as addressing domestic and international congresses on the level of a plenary session elevated the prestige, recognition, and respect of the cosmetic-plastic gynecologic field. Unquestionably, to incorporate cosmetic-plastic gynecology into your practice will increase cash flow and certainly will increase your practice income. For the course/workshop educational curriculum, please consult the website at: www.cosmetic-gyn.com
With kind regards,
Prof. Adam Ostrzenski, M.D., Ph.D., Dr. Hab.
